Spencer in the Craftsman Truck Series
I guess it makes sense, his driving style is more geared to the truck series. In the trucks, you can beat and bang and not necessarily cause a wreck, I'm not exactly sure why, but those trucks sure do beat and bang a lot.
Because of his driving style, Spencer doesn't seem to be well-liked among fans, although everyone did seem to cheer when he punched Busch. With his driving style, he will fit better in the truck series, he can beat and bang and not necessarily cause a huge wreck, just don't do it at Daytona.
While he fits more in the truck series, I do have one problem with it. He's going to Ultra Motorsports and going to be Musgraves "teammate." Musgrave is my favorite and the reason I don't like it is I don't think Spencer is really "teammate" material, he's more suited for a one car team. I mean, do you really think he'll work with Ted during the races? I highly doubt it, I don't remember ever seeing him help someone out on the track during a race, I could be wrong, that's just my recollection.
One things for sure though, if he messes with Ted, he'll get it right back and Ted won't care what NASCAR does, he already feels as if NASCAR has it in for him anyways.

The fact that Jimmy Spencer would all of a sudden say that he didn't appreciate the way Bobby Hamilton drove him at the end of the truck race is amazing! Mr Excitement, you should have finished in the grass with those blocking moves. Had you been the second place truck at the time, I'm sure someone would have. I think the guy is dangerously deluded and NASCAR needs to watch him closely this year.

I loved the truck series with a passion
until it became "Shady Acres" for "washed up" drivers.
Presently I do not agree with NASCAR's handeling of the truck series. Listed below
are Three reasons.
1) Only carried by Speed Channel.
2) No new drivers, just wash ups from cup.
3) 5:00 pm race on a Friday afternoon???
The Truck series has so much more potential than is presently allowed by NASCAR.

Wouldn't it be nice if some of these writers had studied English while in Grammar School, and had learned to spell.

That's one thing the trucks have always had, excitement!

I think the two of them will work well together. Two veterans like that will make Untra tough to beat. I like Jimmy. Partially because I'm from his hometown but also because he speaks his mind. He doesn't often bite the hand that feeds him, but he is clearly not quiet. Trucks will be great for him. It will definitely make it more exciting to watch...if that is possible.
