Chevy dominates qualifying
Chevy's dominated both the Busch and Cup qualifying with Chevy's taking up the five of the top ten spots for Cup and nine of ten for the Busch race.
Menard got the pole for the Busch series, is it really surprising since it's DEI power and Dega? Harvick got the pole for the Cup race. And it being the late Dale Earnhardt's birthday seemed to make it that much more fitting.
Earnhardt Jr. struggled in qualifying and was clearly disappointed in the qualifying run, he tried to be optimistic about the car being fine for the race, but there still seemed to be a hint of frustration there and maybe doubt.
Does it really matter though? So many say where you start doesn't matter here because you go from the back to the front in a minute.

hey,
It does matter, if you start in the middle or the back of the pack you could get caught up in the big one. But with that said it all depends on how well your car handles and what you do with it. Good racers win plain and simple. But be sure to watch out for the big one if you can.

kevins gonna win today over scott riggs and joe nemecheck.gordon, johnson,Jr,waltrip and alot of other big names are gonna be a little bit off on pit sequences along with 70% of the feild and start alll in the back with 70 to go and the big one it gonna happen starting with ryan newman and jeremy mayfeild in 10th and 11th and jeremy is gonna roll 3 times down the front stretch grass while gordon, johnson,Jr,waltrip and other big names are gonna get caught up in it...and kevin makes the last lap pass on the outside with jeff burton pushing him(who also stopped with other part of the feild)to victory!!!thats my predictions...and kevins also gonna win the busch race, and in that one there will be a car flip over(at least one car) in that mud in the grass today.that is,if they race today lol.
