Stewart wins IROC race
Tony Stewart won his very first race in any series at Texas Motor Speedway on Friday night during the IROC race.
It looked more like Daytona the way the cars were drafting, bumping and whatnot and once again, Steve Kinser took a wild ride. Kinser's car rolled twice before landing right side up, his second flip in as many races for the IROC series. Kinser was fine and joked about it, but he has to be getting frustrated with the outcome, especially when he just got caught up in someone else's wreck.
Stewart climbed the fence to the cheers of the crowd and he's hoping to do it again on Sunday.

Hey DonB,
Yes, Tony can drive anything. Had the "crow" ordered for my pizza. That was close. I did not think temper Tony would have his fenders for the end. He proved me wrong.

Larry, that was slam-drafting. It's how they're supposed to race.
"It looked like Daytona." Yes, Kathy, it's supposed to look like Daytona. When you get the draft working (something neither today's cars nor the Trucks nor the COT can do; only BGN's plate track cars at present get the draft to work) and take 25 MPH out of the speed of the cars, then there is no aero-push, no impediment to passing, and no excuses.

Hey Kathy,
Enjoyed the IROC race. Good example of bump, not bang drafting. Kinser almost missed that, of course upside down, almost don't help very much.
Tony will be climbing somebody's tree on sunday, but not a fence.
