Points Shuffle
First of all, congrats to Kyle Busch and his fans for the New Hampshire win.
This race really shook up the points, between mechanical problems for some and an untimely caution, many drivers moved either up or down. Kyle Busch was the biggest winner of the shakeup, moving up four spots in the standings, while Tony Stewart was the biggest loser in points dropping four spots to eleventh.
Only Johnson and Kenseth finished the race in the same position in the standings that they started, everyone else in the top ten moved around. Because of Stewarts problems, he dropped out of the top ten and that allowed Biffle to get in.
The way things are going this year, I expect Johnson and Kenseth to basically stay the same in the standings and the rest of them are going to fight it out for position and the only two outside the top ten that have a chance to get in the Chase are Stewart and Hamlin.

» Busch wins at New Hampshire from All Sports All The Time
It was a rather disappointing race weekend for Dale Earnhardt Jr. on Sunday at New Hampshire. He day was cut short when the engine expired and he was knocked out of the race and finished 43rd. The worst part of it was that he lost 4 precious spots in ... [Read More]

Yep, congrats to Kyle Busch. As much as people want to dislike him, great drive today by him and that team. Very talented driver. Few observations:
-The Stewart-Newman deal goes on both of those guys. Yes, Newman could have not simply ran over Stewart like he did and been a little more patient. However, he did have 4 fresh tires and Stewart didn't give him very much room with those fresh tires. Some communication should have been made there by the spotter to Stewart about the fresh tires coming and just let him go. In hindsight, I'm sure he would have because if he'd just let him go, he wouldn't be in the points situation he's in now. By the way Earnhardt fans, Gordon should have been penalized last week, where's the outcry for Newman's penalty this week? Let's hear it...
-The M. Waltrip-Newman deal is more evidence that lapped cars should be on the outside on restarts and not the inside. They're slower cars put them in the slower lanes.
-Every race is pivotal but next weekend in Pocono is especially important because of the setup similarities you can apply to Indy in a couple weeks. As much as the test session was nice for those guys this past week, the perfect test session for Indy will be this weekend in Pocono. Also, momentum going into the off-weekend and into the final 6 races before Richmond.
-Robby Gordon is an idiot.

Congrats to the #5 team, they had the car to beat and Busch was able to keep it in front.
Unfortunately, Dale Jr. motor gave out because he had a decent run going. Fortunately, he is still in the Top10.
I won't bite on your ridiculous reference to the Gordon spinning of Kenseth.
