Stewart wins again
Tony Stewart scored his second consecutive win, it was also his third win in The Chase. I bet the other drivers are happy that Stewart didn't make it in the Chase field. He's definitely got eleventh place and the bonus sewed up.
It also looks like there will be penalties handed down for the post-race incident between Riggs' crew member and Kevin and DeLana Harvick. The incident took place because the crew member was mad about the accident on 331 that put Riggs out of the race.
At first I thought Harvick bumped Riggs out of the way while they were racing for position, but other angles showed that Harvick got Riggs loose, which caused him to spin.
Either way, it was understandable for Riggs' crew member to be upset, but what wasn't ok was what he did, shoving them to the ground. The incident also injured an official too.
The other big news was Johnson taking over the points lead. He now leads Kenseth by 17 points. While that doesn't seem like a lot with two races to go, I think barring any problems of the #48, Johnson will beat Kenseth out for the championship.
Your thoughts?

I will laugh if Tony wins another race or the last 2 races. NASCAR is going to change the Chase format just due to Tony's performance(Tony has earn more points than any of the chasers). I will laugh because of all the "what if" articles that will be written.

I just want to thank NBC and NASCAR for allowing me watch football and golf during Sunday's telecast. Between ALL the commercial breaks and yellow flags, I don't miss any of the action on the football field nor the golf course. They even squeeze in 5 sponsor plugs coming out of commercial before we see the race. Again, thanks NBC.

Not only is it down to two cars, it's down to the two who deserve to be there. My gy in the 31 had his day, but it's Johnson and Kenseth who are the true heirs to the title, and they are two quality teams from top to bottom. Both would be worthy champions.

With only two to go, it is down to two cars. The others may close the gap but unless the 17 & 48 tangle togeather, one will be the winner. As a junior fan, I guess we will always wonder what might have been if Dega hadn't happened. If junior and jimmy had finished 1-2, then I believe the last two races would be between them and I would still (bite my tongue) give it to jimmy

I think Matt will win it. I think it will be close but Matt will be the Champ.

My bet is still Matt.He has had a lot of bad luck in the chase and is still near the top.Time for something to go his way.

Jimmie and Chad will bring the Cup home this time. In the 8 Chase races so far, Kennseth has overcome several potential bad situations and ended up with good/decent finishes. But I think Matt has used up all his good luck and Jimmie has used up all his bad luck, which is bad news for the 48 haters. Hamlin and Jr will finish strong but not strong enough to catch 'em.

Jimmie will win the Cup this year

I didn't catch Riggs comments after the race, but I would hope they were a lot more classy than that of the #10 crew member that attacked Harvick and his wife.
I still think the Kenseth will win the Cup and Johnson will be a bridesmaid again.
