Jr. defends Teresa?
I was surprised to see headlines saying Dale Jr. defended Teresa when Harvick called her a "deadbeat owner". Upon reading the articles further, it seems more that he was coming up with excuses rather than defending her. I never once read where he said Harvick was wrong, just that she has a "full plate" and a lot more important things to do, that really didn't sound like a defense to me. I don't know the full story of what it is she actually does, but I do think she needs to make more of an effort to be at the track more often.
On the other side of DEI, Truex got himself in trouble for disorderly intoxication. I just had to laugh at the whole thing, granted he admitted it was stupid of him to do and all, but I just can't imagine him doing something like that if he wasn't drunk, which he says he wasn't.
Your thoughts?

DEI is more than just race cars. They have real estste and car dealerships and farms and God knows what else. Why does she need to be at the track? That is why people delegate responsibility, I think that is what Richie Gilmore is for. I think she still has a daughter at home, maybe that is more important to her than sitting on a pit box. Besides, it isn't Harvick's, your, or my business what she does with her time. Her teams are at the track, that is what matters. I am in business with my dad, he doesn't need to be over my shoulder every second telling me what to do. I don't think DEI employees at the track need a baby sitter.

This whole brouhaha just keeps getting uglier. I think Harvick's comments were his own lobbying to Junior to ditch Teresa and go to RCR.
