Gordon wins 'Dega with a melee behind him
Jeff Gordon got his 77th win and got pelted with trash. Granted, I'm not a fan of Gordon, as most who read this blog know, but all this trash throwing because you don't like the winner has got to stop, it's just childish.
Gordon probably would have won anyways, but I had to question the timing of when NASCAR threw the caution for the 00 blowing up. It took them a lap and right after Gordon passed McMurray for the lead for them to notice he was putting oil down on the track. Like I said though, Gordon probably would have won anyways, but I think it could have been a shootout between Gordon and Johnson if it had been thrown a lap before, McMurray wouldn't have been a factor because of fuel.
Also, as I thought, NASCAR nailed Tony Stewart for "speeding" on pit road, it seems as if Stewart took it in stride and kind of gave his team a pep talk about it, saying he'll get into position and get back on the lead lap with the next caution.
It seemed like someone didn't like his teammates too much today either, Johnson had contact with Mears and Busch, Busch declined an interview request and Mears doesn't understand why it happened since he was told they were all pitting together that lap, which is why he started to slow.
The confusing thing was when they supposedly "froze" the field with the last wreck during the green-white-checkered, it was supposedly frozen, but the order of the cars on the track and the finishing order, just didn't seem to mesh. We may see changes to the finishing order later as NASCAR tries to figure all of that out.
Your thoughts?

One question
When did Johnson have contact with Busch?
Besides you make it sound like Johnson caused that wreck, I didn't see it that way

I knew that Gordon was going to pass Dale sometime, but it sucked to be today, Earnhardt's birthday. Honestly, it would suck anytime, but today was harder to endure.
One consolation is that it is nice to see that there are a lot of people who still hate Jeffy as much as I do.
