Jon2,
Your PC comment fits in with your very PV driver. :)

May the G-d of your choice bless all of you during this season.
Thank you all for your kind seasonal comments.

Prefer the Robert Yates way of things, non PC, and dont beat around the bush. Going to be odd F5 without him here next year. Real odd.
But hell he still is going to continue his Harley Deal.

Aggie and kurt2, The key word in my post is USUALLY 100% correct...not always 100% correct.. :)
Posted by: earnhardt nation | Nov 23, 2007 12:16:48 PM
Enation,
No not 100% correct ever and no aggie not a ego manaic..
How was the Canadian Turkey yesterday Aggie?
I was a little shocked they put Jr in there (SI) with that company. That was a little screwed up. Charlie Weiss and Notre Dame couldnt beat the damn high school team in my area.
have to pull for GA tommorrow( or the wrath of 2 females will be unleashed). UVA, and Oklahoma.

Gretchen
Yeah Exile, S1 never ceases to amaze me.
Thank you Gretchen, for upholding Junior.
I am also, a Dale Jr. fan. I think, he
had 7 or 8 blown engines but still did
better then a lot of drivers.
Hope your Thanksgiving was a great one.

Yeah Exile, SI never ceases to amaze me. They put him in their with so true low-lifes, brats, cheaters, etc. He is THE ONLY turkey on the list that had an "excuse" sort of for his results in 2007. And in true SI fashion they fail to mention the blown motors, the wheel that finished in the top 5, etc. Junior did not get indicted, he didn't test positive, he didn't rob anyone, he didn't go ape$hit on any reporters during media conferences, he didn't upstage the World Series, he didn't get sued-and lose the lawsuit- for sexual harrassment. I mean, they threw him under the bus with some true peices of sports $hit, IMO. I know who I would not be granting interviews to next year that's for sure. The Michelle Wei of NASCAR? THAT was bad....I guess they HAD to include a driver in their Turkeys, but god.......

I hope all your tummies are full and you have some good left overs for today :-)
Congratulations to the Indy Colts. They started out slow but turned it on for a good victory. However, they still miss Freeney and Harrison.
Have a great weekend!!

Thanks for the link to the Marty Smith/ Robert Yates piece, K2. Robert Yates is a very smart man. Too bad nobody who matters is paying attention.

Ms G
is this their theme song??
I didn't mean to cause a big scene
Just wait 'til I finish this glass
Then sweet little lady
I'll head back to the bar
And you can kiss my ass
'Cause I've got friends in low places
Where the whiskey drowns
And the beer chases my blues away
And I'll be okay
I'm not big on social graces
Think I'll slip on down to the oasis
Oh, I've got friends in low places

"...perhaps the biggest NASCAR story of the year, but the hullabaloo was because of his last name and popularity rather than his on-track performance."
is that an accurate comment?
well yes, overall it is.
however it doesn't mention the, was it... 8 dnf's. and the fact that he was runnin in the top 5 most of the time when his cheap ass piece of shit dei motor blew up?
ahhh, no.
but then this was in SI the wonderful stick up ur ass and balls magazine.

Gretchen:
Cheeseburger Charlie Weis. ( 2-9 Notre Shame's head coach).

Wow Jr is running with pillars of american society!!!
they MISSED ONE that guy in NBA with 7 kids and 7 wives...oh, hang on, i think he won last years Breeders Cup, no??
Posted by: aggie | Nov 22, 2007 11:09:28 PM
LOL!! Sports Illustrated had named its 22 "Turkeys of the Year" in sports. Well..... Dale Earnhardt Jr. has made this admirable list as TURKEY #7. Barry Bonds is #6. Pacman Jones is #1. O.J. Simpson is in there as well as Marion Jones, Isiah " sexual harrassment" Thomas, the 2007 NY " meltdown" Mets, Bill " spygate" Belicheck, Nick " I got paid 4 million this year to lose to Louisianna at Monroe" Saban, Kobe " I am SO unhappy" Bryant, Mike " I AM A MAN" Gundy, and Cheeseburger Charlie Weis. ( 2-9 Notre Shame's head coach). LMFAO!!! Yet another accolade for Junior to add to his list of accomplishments. GREAT company to be included with in-f***ing-deed. LOL!!!

Sports Illustrated polled NASCAR drivers and the results showed that 29% of them think Clint Bowyer's girlfriend is hotter than their own significant other.
lol
will the drivers get grilled relentlessly until the sig others find out if they are part of the 29% ??

I want to wish everyone that frequent Kathy's blog a Happy Thanksgiving. I want to also take a minute to thank all of our past and present military men and women that have made call to arms and defend our great country from all of our enemies. Also to their families that have made a huge sacrifice to support their husband, wife, son, daughters or grandchildren. If it wasn't for your support many of them wouldn't be able to do what they do.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING to Everyone!!!!!

Laides and Gents.
Here is a great article on what NASCAR was and hell should still be. Robert Yates offers alot of insight on everything. Damn , going to be odd without him there next year.
