Harvick wins Texas Busch race - moves to second in all-time wins
Kevin Harvick won his sixth race this season at Texas Motor Speedway. It put him up to 32 wins in the Busch Series, moving him into second all-time behind Mark Martin who has 47 all-time wins. Congrats Harvick!
Looks like Kyle Busch's crew is still messing up this week, being very slow over the wall with the right front tire and putting it on, seemed a bit weird to me. The reason was the tires weren't "set" because the crew chief Gustafson was still working on the Cup car. He ended up bouncing back and finishing second, but he was disappointed and it showed and although I'm not a fan, I don't blame him one bit. Wonder if there will be another mess up in the pits on Sunday?
Carl Edwards clinched the championship, giving Roush his second Busch Championship.
Your thoughts?

The Owner/Driver championship could have pertanded to the Cup Series too...
If the 01 car had made the top 12 in points everyone would have been celebrating the fact that Mark Martin would have a chance to race for another championship. It didnt work out - But that doesnt mean you should discredit what RCR has done in the Busch Series!
Posted by: Brian French | Nov 4, 2007 4:24:30 PM
Wow, talk about, your point?
Posted by: Kurt97 | Nov 4, 2007 4:08:53 PM

RCR is the Hendrick Motorsports of the Busch Series...

Get Real
"well i didn't say anything about the stop-- rick is a crook team orders cheaters etc"
They kicked your Roush ass in Cup.
Get over it and do better next year.
Be happy about Carl and his year in Busch.
"If you can read, I think Kathy brought"
huh?
beer?
chips?
cheese for your wine?
Yes, it would be funny if you were really Jack Roush.
Interesting, Jr and Rick Hendrick walking together before the race just now.
Is he telling Jr he can speed up or slow down Jr's pit stop today?
It's Magic.
Believe in the Force.
Now that I realized you are a Roushie, I understand the conspiracy theories.
I'm kinda beginning to appreciatwe your Corp rantings.
Good Luck today.

Posted by: earnhardt nation | Nov 4, 2007 1:44:49 PM
Yeah come on over.
Like your address is real
ayhoo. OK. Sounds real.
So now HMS did something to the 5 car so it didn't win lastnight in Busch.
Hey Roush boy you want a tissue for your many issues?
Posted by: Kurt97 | Nov 4, 2007 12:34:59 PM

I'm not going to get on the bandwagon of licking "Happy's" ass.
Looking forward to today's cup race and Jimmie taking care of the points lead!

Was that a something you would like to sign up for? please let me know.
Also, pretty funny your email is evidently bogus......
Yeah Angel, odd all the way around right now with the 5, hell the 5 in both series.
Posted by: Kurt2 | Nov 4, 2007 10:25:45 AM
Poor, poor baby in Mr. Hendrick's #5 car. The pencil necked geek has had some week-end, taking prize money from the truckers AND the Busch Series drivers.
Posted by: Geezer88 | Nov 4, 2007 9:50:23 AM
It seems Kyle Busch is having problems at
HMS on Pit Road and Dale Jr. is having
blown engines on the track. Both are
leaving and going to a new team in "08",
makes you wonder what's going on.
Congratulations to Kevin Harvick on his
win at Texas and to Carl Edwards on
winning the Busch Championship.
Posted by: Blueeyes | Nov 4, 2007 1:10:54 AM
Congratulations to "Happy" (Kevin Harvick)
on his win at Texas.
Also, Congratulations to Carl Edwards on
winning the Championship, he deserved it.

I'm not trying to be a smart ass... But Jack Roush DID NOT AND WILL NOT win the Busch Series Trophy this year! Just becuase Edwards won the drivers title doesn't mean Roush automatically wins the Owners... Roushs #60 car is 3rd place in owners points after Texas, 259 behind Richard Childress's #29 who's in the lead. (Burton & Wimmer split the races)
I'm not trying to undermind your comments... But it annoys me that ESPN2 doesn't make a bigger deal out of the Driver/Owners points... To me it's a big story... It's only happened one other time in Busch Series history... In 2003 Brian Vickers (driving for Hendrick) won the drivers championship and Richard Childress won the Owners Championship by 261 pionts with the #21 car. (Harvick & Sauter split the races)
Once again - Just wanted to give RCR the credit that they deserve. 2 owners championships in a row! Thats 4 all time in the Busch Series...
12 Busch Series wins this year.
12 Busch Series wins in 2006.
RCR is the Hendrick Motorsports of the Busch Series...

Reading your crap must be what it's like reading a grocery store checkout line rag.
HMS this, HMS that.
You whine like a little girl.
That's an old picture. Old news.
Maybe someone needs to kick your dumb little ass.
I can't believe a team pays someone like you to work for them.
Posted by: Kurt97 | Nov 4, 2007 1:06:07 AM
yes gratz edwards on a championship well run even though your fellow cup drivers had 6 guys in the bush series with higher average finish .. higher ratio's of top 5 finishes per race ratios and one guy had more wins in 910 less races.
so which sprint driver get the free champioship next year?

Real happy for "happy" Harvick on his win at Texas in the Busch race and his over taking of Jack Ingram for 2nd place in all-time wins. I wouldn't be surprised if he eventually passed Mark Martin for the record. Go Kevin !!!!!
Posted by: flyguy | Nov 3, 2007 7:02:29 PM
Great job Happy, you done well. Behind MM is a honor for All time busch wins.
Carl won and deserved that trophy. Till Gretchen starts running it.

Congrats to Kevin Harvick for winning at Texas and for surpassing Jack Ingram for Busch Series career wins with 32.
It looks like the #60 Roush car hasn't skipped a beat even with Edwards in it this year. This is the same car that Mark Martin won most of his 47 wins in the Busch Series.
