Long green flag runs at Bristol
Since the resurfacing, Bristol has given us longer green flag runs and today was no exception. Yes, there were wrecks, as is typical of Bristol, but there was only one that involved multiple cars.
Kyle Busch definitely had the car to beat, leading the most laps and won the race over teammate Denny Hamlin in a green-white-checkered finish. Good runs by Kahne (5th) and Ambrose (10th), cars we don't usually see in the top.
There were a few idiotic moves during the race, as usual. Montoya didn't like the bumping with McMurray, so he bumped and spun him, getting him a warning by NASCAR. Typical of Montoya, but later in the race Stremme did the same thing to the car in front of him and I didn't hear about any warning given to him. Bumping is typical at Bristol, I guess NASCAR saw the Montoya incident as him be mad (retaliation) and Stremme's as a typical Bristol bump?
Congrats to Busch on the win, he definitely had the dominant car.
Your thoughts?

Congrats to Kyle Busch and the #18 Team. He
definitely had the car to beat but it also
takes a driver and he can wheel a car. I
picked him to win the race and DJ, I see you
picked him also.
Congrats to the following drivers who ended
up in the top five: Denny Hamlin, Jimmie
Johnson, Jeff Gordon and Kasey Khane.
Congrats to Kevin Harvick on his win in the
Nationwide this week-end.
Good to see Ryan Newman come in 7th. He's
been having some tough luck this season.
Ambrose had a good run and nice to see him
end up in the 10th. spot.

So these bristol races definately don't give the fans as much of a show to look forward to anymore, unless you like watching cars go around in circles on a bull ring. Yeah there was racing, but Bristol has always been about the SHOW. 9 cautions and really no wrecks that took anyone out? doesn't sound like bristol to me...at least the one that sells out conisistently. I dont see the race continuing to sell out in the future if the racing continues this way.
