Stewart wins!
Tony Stewart, shut up his naysayers by getting his first win as owner/driver at Pocono. While this has never been an exciting race, it was great to see Tony get his win.
So many people said Tony and Ryan wouldn't do well this year because of the new team, well I think they've both proved those naysayers wrong. Tony leads the points standings over Gordon by 71 points and Newman is 4th in points.
I also read an interesting stat about Tony, he's only led the points in two other seasons and he went on to win the championship in those seasons, maybe he could do it again this year.
Your thoughts?

Felon this and felon that get over it!! Sounds like a lot of jealousy cause the guy's super rich and wins a lot of races and championships. Remember good ol' boy Junior Johnson was a felon befor Ronnie boy pardoned him.

Dottie, good job with the "weather dance".
Posted by: Dawn | Jun 14, 2009 5:00:43 PM
Dawn, the weather is looking good so far but
our MI weather can change fast. I'm hoping
it stays nice so they can race. I want to
see a good race today.

KYle gets pwned at kentucky.
i bet it really SUCKS when you are the brash young gun who suddenly gets beat week after week by the NEW KID on the track.
as with most young and dumb kids who refer to their elders as "that old guy" and other stupid shit... hey YOU are aging and it's funny cause you havn't made your mark yet KYle.
anyway...
KYle sounded like hamlin after the race. poor me, i came here to run second.
that's right joey is the new you with parents who musta raised him to be nice.
have fun tomorrow KYle... sucka.

Dawn, I would do a double "Don't Rain" dance
if it would work. lol
Let's keep our fingers crossed that it won't
rain all day and they can get it in.
Put your Smoke gear on and let's pull for
the #14 if they race.
Posted by: Dottie | Jun 13, 2009 8:30:36 PM
Dottie, can you please do a "DON'T RAIN" dance for the Brooklyn area for tomorrow?
Posted by: Dawn | Jun 13, 2009 8:12:47 PM
It's been cloudy all day here and they're
saying rain for tomorrow. Hopefully they can
get the race in. Looking forward to seeing
the race.

Hey D2, if you like winners how can you not like jimmie johnson? May be he is too vanilla, but it seems like he tries to go for the win. How could you not like that if you were working on his team?

Picks: 99, 14, 17, 83, 39, long shot 88.

If GM, Ford and Dodge all scale back or abandon the Sprint Cup series, I look for NASCAR to go to a spec engine since all of the bodies are the same. No money from the Big three means no new engine designs.

I'm sorry D2. From now on I will Refer to KYB as the 2nd coming. All Bow to his Holiness and chant "There is no one like Kyle. There is no one like Kyle".

correction...
he tried to break a guitar. not enough lead in his pencil.
lol
haha
on a nascar tv show ol' KYle was talkin about how HE thought of and arranged the whole benson deal with the 51 team cause he cares so much about a champ racin, etc.
next story was
benson said he had already started talking to the 51 team.
(before KYle saved the day)
hmmmmm

exile, thanks for the update on RG. Hope the penalties are reversed.
D2, nice what Kyle did for Benson. Hope Johnny can take that truck to Victory Lane.

It has been revealed the Robby Gordon was not penalized for course deviation,
but was assessed a 10 minute penalty for exceeding the maximum allowed speed of 60 mph while traveling on the highway and Gordon was assessed a 90-minute penalty for the fueling violation.(DirtNewz.com) and see official results at score-international.com now show Robby Gordon in 7th and not winning the Baja 500.(6-11-2009)
UPDATE 2: A statement from Robby Gordon Motorsports: "We are deeply disappointed with SCORE’s decision and reject their claims in the strongest possible terms.
We plan an immediate appeal of this unjust decision.
First, SCORE assessed a speeding penalty because it claimed that there was no IRC data between kilometer 77 and kilometer 78. The IRC device on our vehicle worked properly during all other sections of the race course, and Steve Myers from IRC has no explanation why no IRC data exists from that section alone.
Our race team has footage of the entire race, and the video proves that we were not speeding during the section in question.
Further, the #77 Trophy Truck has a speed control device connected to the engine management system that does not allow it to exceed 60 MPH.
The pit violations claims are equally invalid.", see the full release and more details on Robby's web site.(RGM PR)(6-12-2009)

I know he is a bitch, he races , he wins, he can win in any series, he breaks a guitar as AC/DC, he wins..He walks away insted of bitching, he talks and bitches, so how can he win????
Accept a BOW:)
Also, since he is a utter bitch, a crybaby. I know he is the ONLY driver that thinks its F***ED that Rocket lost a ride at Red Bull Racing.
So WOW, the "prick"( as most assholes call him) , is in fact giving him the 51 to race in CTS...
That takes a utter asshole as I see no other driver PERIOD stepping up to help a soul..
Kind like I said earlier. I prefer a "bitch, crybaby and a winner", like F5 does..
Enjoy another weekend..
Humm, who starts 30th? Watch out Lance? as it cant be your damn driver.

OMG, is Chad K. moonlighting as Robby Gordon's Baja crew chief? Say it ain't so Robby. Sure hope he didn't smash the trophy in victory lane.

Yo Michael...did you take your ball and go home??
Based on the last few posts by J2,is there any doubt as to the "bashing" of Hendrick and HMS.Alot of us like RG,Jr and even JG somewhat.A few like JJ,not many.Again, the HMS slurpfest is what occurs on here daily and that leads to some backlash toward HMS.J2....the reason your HMS is talked about on this blog is almost 100% related to something you spew about them. And that's the bottom line, cause Stone Cold said so!LOL!!Yes,a WWE reference...
Agg....will check for the sunglasses. Not sure about the beach yet. Will call you sat...Be safe........
Posted by: DJ | Jun 12, 2009 4:15:51 PM
No J2, it is a PAST reference...I married once, and lost half my stuff once...once IS enough...But I see future Ex's everywhere!
and OH Pleeeeeaaase stop with thin skinned remarks, FUNNY I'm a minority and I don't scream murder when I sse the Braves, Indian's and Redskins play!...Some folks consider Native American as being born in the USA...Now THATS funny!
Aggie did you get to Welcome yet?...good food to had

'nother news item: Robby Gordon stripped of Baja championship for cheating as a result of cutting corners. Not the first time he's been accused of cheating at these dune buggy events. Seems Rob has a reputation at these events.
Recall several years back Robby G was about to get lapped at a CUP event so he started disassembling the interior of his car and throwing parts of it out on the track to bring out a yellow flag. Ah, the creative spirit in us.

"..future EX WIFE..." That doesn't sound good. Is that a forecast or an in the process event?
News item: GM Chevrolet is cutting off all support for the Camping World and NW series. No freebies like engines, cash, etc. General Obama Motors has conceded these series to the Toyota juggernaut.

Another racist act which results in a NASCAR members, in this case Nationwide crew chief Bryan Berry for Brendan Gaughan, indefinite suspension when Berry called NW driver Marc Davis the N word. Good for NASCAR.

Probably the reasons HMS and it's satelite org SHR-HAAS are the greater part of discussions throughout the NASCAR world including blogs such as this, though the blogmeister who manages here despises even the mention of HMS, are: 1)HMS has the most popular CUP driver in the sport 2) Winningest driver - Jeff Gordon 3) Most CUP championship drivers in it's stable 4) Most CUP wins of the teams - 170+, and is likely for a fourpeat in 2009.
I would venture to say that's the reason HMS is discussed and mentioned so often.

of course it's always the pilots fault when a plane crashes.
so, it's good to limit or do away with any chaqnce to sue the crackhead who tried to put it together.
it's like the doctor who marked one leg and cut off the other one. oops, sorry. hey i got a tee time at the club, can i get back to you on this.
when you're rich and kill someone with a stupid mistake it just isn't fair to have to pay for the f'up. you know them workers don't deserve shit anyway.

that said, do you think Sam Bass rushed home
to waste 300 hours of his valuable time
painting two copies of an original piece of
art work for the little baby bush??
I doubt that Sam Bass put it as #1 on his
priority list. He should charge him 100K for
each one and make him wait as long to get
them as it took Busch to win a race in
Nashville. Out of everything Kyle has done,
I could overlook but I think he went to far
when he did this. Why didn't he just throw
a huge party for his crew and give each one
of them a nice big check.

Dottie... I understand where you are coming from... but it's hard to move on when Rick Hendrick is worshipped on here almost every day...
Dawn... I agree with your comments on the drug companies...
Posted by: Stewart | Jun 11, 2009 6:11:26 PM
So why not move on and forget their past. They paid the price.
Posted by: Dottie
it appears it's because they would not have anything to talk about.
except they do have a lot to say about. there's so much more to nascar than whinning about rick, jj, his wife, fms, and Jr's latest pu$$y, etc.
that said, do you think Sam Bass rushed home to waste 300 hours of his valuable time painting two copies of an original piece of art work for the little baby busch ??
hopefully Mr Bass will get two cheap guitars at wal mart, scrawl "you won nashville asshole" with a magic marker , ship them to the little biotch, and charge him 50k.
have a nice day.
Posted by: exile | Jun 11, 2009 6:05:28 PM
Everyone has a right to their opinion but
what happened in the past with R.H.,Jr.J. &
Haas is over and done with. So why not move
on and forget their past. They paid the
price.

Ok, done..
Micheal you had no issue calling DJ out. Well call me out.
Yes I post about Rick and his FMS , because I see a BJ Fest daily , per J2 aka Fuckstick . We all see it. You would think Big Dick, oops Rick is the best thing since sliced bread.
He (J2) hated Junior, now he bows to him, he hated Tony, now he bows to him. So yes the "pole smoking" gets old.
So the sausage fest is okay by a PRO Convict believer, and the ones whom dispute it shouldnt be talked about?
FYI, a pardon does not grant anything but absolution from the conviction J2 , it still is a matter of public record..
You cant credit everything SHR has done and Tony, Bobby H etc. have to Rick Hendrick. Renting and body, chasis is not setting the car up. You cant get the modifications from SHR. NOT FMS..
No I do not work for Roger and never have. Correct yourself there.
So take your "the charge by the obvious one" and ram it. Its your pole smoker J2 whom loves to bring the Convict up and yes I do take the bait.
anything else you need to ask , as me , not DJ, Dawn etc.Call me out I really dont care, but you are obviously so one damn way you cant see the FMS bitchfest FS creates..

Michael, I was simply saying that Kathy is the only one who can tell us what we should or shouldn't discuss.
Posted by: Dawn | Jun 11, 2009 3:21:40 PM
Dawn,
I simply was asking why, on this blog, every single subject posted by Kathy, someone has to discuss the accounts of Rick Hendrick's conviction/pardon on mail fraud as it relates to Honda dealerships. The charge often lead by the obvious one. It seems our Penske employee or whoever he works for just can't get past it. It's as if he has some great obsession with Hendrick.

Thursday balls for Michigan....
17,99,16,48,83....darkness the 00 and 47.
I see Sammy Hagar,Michael Anthony(VH),Joe Satriani, and Red Hot Chilli drummer have got a group called Chickenfoota and will be touring soon.Listened to some of it.Not bad at all.Hell of a combo.....
Geez....wished the Jeremy deal would get a move on.To me it is still puzzling. Can't see where fumes had anything to do with a positive test.Dude ain't backing down and nor is Nascar.Persoanlly I hope he can prove the Powers that be in Nascar flubbed up.Just sick of their inconsistancies and over doing some of the penalties.
BTW...what ever happened to Brad Coleman?Dude was set in Gibbs stuff, then a decent ride with the 27 in Bucsh, then got dubbed for the crappy 96 car in Cup...now nothing??
Random thoughts ........beer is good......
Posted by: DJ | Jun 11, 2009 1:15:26 PM
Jon2, IMO the drug companies would have billions of dollars to spend on research and new medications if they would STOP ADVERTISING. Then they wouldn't have to charge so much for life saving meds.
Michael, I heard the purpose of a blog is for people to express their opinions without being told by someone else what they can and cannot say.
Jon2, A pardon does not erase the fact that Rick Hendrick committed a crime.
Good luck to Stewart-Haas Racing this weekend.

"its like the drug prices" by exile.
FDA makes companies in many cases go through trial after trial which might take in some recent cases a decade, and all during that time the drug company might have spent 10s of billions and billions developing the drug and still not get it approved by the FDA, all down the drain. On top of that, even when the FDA says it's safe go ahead and market it, the lawyers are out there ready to pounce on any whimper from the public related to an adverse affect by the drug.
Bush tried to exempt drugs from lawsuits contingent on FDA approval and the tort community and it's cronies in the House and Senate, said nah baby nah.
Wanna bring down drug prices? Implement more speedy testing and approval as do the euros and reform the pharma tort community. Until that's done pharmas got to charge high prices and get a return on their investments as do all companies in any industry.
What sank many of the private plane mfgrs was when an accident occurred, lawsuit, and a dead incompetent pilot's family won millions. Cessna in the late 90's attached a 25,000 markup lawsuit price to every plane they manufactured. Could only imagine what it is now.

yeah
no shit
jesus h christ
like the large amount of faked outrage and hand wringin about some random swimmer athlete smokin a fat joint with the bullshit going on here in our country is pretty much the reason the shit that really matters goes by so quietly.
what's a little money exchanged between a car dealer and the guy who allocates inventory. really who gives a shit.
meanwhile the elected politicans who are "pondering" the way to get all of us health care, (like aggie has up north or the people who are you know dumb enough to be.. holy crap... french) are ON THE DOLE with millions paid by retired elected politicans you know as lobbyists.
it's like the drug prices.
a company was told they were approved for over the counter sales but refused cause they got more per pill and could continue to be paid by insurance companies as a prescription product.
so y'all keep thinkin bout them felons and all that other shit and the elected criminals will keep on keepin on flying under the radar.

"Associate that drug with the low income redneck element."

well, that's an accurate description.

Posted by: exile | Jun 10, 2009 9:30:17 PM
Excuse me, we need to be accurate in our comments. Tony's aligned himself with the felon Haas and the ex-felon Big Rick. Big Rick's sins were wiped clean courtesy of Bubba Clinton granting him a pardon. So to set the record straight, Big Rick is not a felon.
Posted by: Jon2 | Jun 10, 2009 7:29:23 PM
OMG, Tony has aligned himself with 2 Felon's. Not just 1 but 2 as in two. Part owner with a Felon and supporting a Felon by buying engines and cars. My Momma always said, you are who you hang with. Along with life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get.

No Micheal, I glday will admit and freely admit I am the one whom slams Rick, FMS( minus(Jeff G, Chad, Junior)? Why ?
Because I can.. Why do I ? AS said above its a HMS Sausage Smoking Fest daily from FS on here. So there , there is your anwser.
Meth Mayfield.- "I got it from inhaling fumes". UMM METH. Gretch you did nail the combination of things. ? Is if you are taking these when you take a Drug Test, YOU ARE ASKED TO LIST ALL MEDS..
FAILURE TO DO so is not relevant once you dont list it and sign the form. But no, no damn fumes, and I hope the Meth head is gone from NASCAR and every series of racing period.
Wheeling a car at 200 MPH and you are on anything. GET THE HELL OUT..
