Stewart wins Daytona in a wild finish
For most of the race it seemed like Tony was going to win it, but being Daytona, we know anything can happen and it did. With the last lap pass that Kyle Busch made on Tony, I thought for sure that Kyle was gonna win...Tony led for most of the race and gets beat on the last lap. What I didn't expect was the run Tony got and I'm sure Kyle didn't expect it either.
Both drivers did what they were suppose to do, yes some may say it's Tony's fault and others may say it's Kyle's fault, but both were just trying to win the race and I doubt the plan was to wreck anyone. Kyle just went to block, what any other driver would have done in his position, unfortunately for Kyle, Tony was already there and he went across the nose of the car. That was one horrific wreck and I'm glad no one was seriously injured, either Kyle or any of the others caught up in it.
I'm sure all the Busch haters will come out and say he deserved it, but he did what any other driver would have done in that position. While I may not be a fan of his, I ask you to look at it objectively, would you think he deserved it if it had been your driver pulling the block? Probably not, but I guess that's what makes race fans unique.
Your thoughts?

Rowdy boy threw a major tantrum that made me LMAO. Somebody get the boy a binky. It was amusing to hear the boobs in the booth ask each other how they'd like to be Steve Addington. Nobody volunteered.

Ya know I need to chuckle...all these Kyle bashers fail to remember that 10 years ago a Young Tony Stewart showed his ass like that(worse imo)Thats why I have to hear what words come out of Tony's mouth before I know "Which" Tony we are talking to

so anyway
really wtf a lot of people don't understand is...
most people dislike kyle cause he's a smug asshole. so when he has a hard night they laugh. when kyle wins they don't care cause the hot new gay, opps i mean gUy is yesterdays news in a year or two.
it'll be funny to watch kyle run 33rd. no wait he's running 33rd NOW.
as far as Jr goes... most Jr Nation members like Jr just fine.
if Jr wins good. if Jr doesn't win it don't turn to hate... it's all OK.
it's media invented and driven drama.
you know they gota invent some shit to talk about or they don't get paid.
OMG
"which Tony is we gonna be seein at da track today huh"
big hint... only you and mrs j2 think that's still a clever line. the rest of us think you are still dumb as the average alaskan.
nobody cared years and still don't today.
here's a unusual hint...
the Tony that shows up is gonna kick your driver's ass into next week.
you should know that by now fast learner.

68 it's a Power Balance dilema at FMS, Back when it was the #25 and #5 they seemed to be the test beds for the #24 and then the #48...this is why Texas Terry left...JJ was brought in because the "Brain Trust" at HMS "Thought" Puff's driving style mirrored Jeff's...Hmmmmm not so much, Take away Chad and the #48 wouldn't be a 3X Champ...Some say it was the drivers, Kyle and Brian have flourished in there rides...and I won't knock Mark cuz we go back to the days of ASA...But if it where any other org, he wouldn't be as hot as he is...I'm happy for him! Cuz it does my soul good to see a 50 year old man beat 34 year old Icon!
Same goes for Roush and his Yates umbrella...Bill was running well early, But Roush's control of the Ford $$$$ will put the Wood Bros out to pasture
IMHO I hate Mega teams, If I ran Nascar it would be a STRICT 2 car limit...and no thinly veiled Jack Roush's Poodle listed as owner...But Nascar is driven by Money...Mega Ton Money...and it will never go back to the "Old Days"

Didn't our resident expert once say the 5 car was a HMS R&D car. Pretty impressive R&D group. Maybe RCR needs a R&D team.

It's time to start firing people at Roush. That whole bunch has failed to produce a competitive car and drivers like Edwards look as though their driving way over their heads with ill-handling cars. Obviously the new motor has problems or we would have seen it by now, too. It appears the problems are with the whole Fenway-Roush group and not just with one team. Yates and the Wood Bros should do the same before their careers come to a sudden end. Someone should be fired this week.

Ok I'll leave Juuuuuuuunnnnnnnnniiiiiiiior out of this cuz he did finish better than Kyle...Puffs was jus doin' what Puffs does, KB was right, and it cost him a good finish.
Ya know I need to chuckle...all these Kyle bashers fail to remember that 10 years ago a Young Tony Stewart showed his ass like that(worse imo)Thats why I have to hear what words come out of Tony's mouth before I know "Which" Tony we are talking to...if you need a refresher just go to YouTube...I wonder if anyone will Bash Mark Martin for slamming the Double File restarts?...Some nights __it Happens right D2?

I was very happy for Kyles crew when his engine finally blew. It must really suck to run out to turn 3 and push the car to the garage after a bad race.

JJ's whiskers must've been in his eyes. Does he ever take the rap for any of his screwups? Jeff wasn't even up to his back bumper, the stupid shit.
Rowdy boy threw a major tantrum that made me LMAO. Somebody get the boy a binky. It was amusing to hear the boobs in the booth ask each other how they'd like to be Steve Addington. Nobody volunteered. heh
Congrats to The Kid and the #5 team for one more trip to VL!

Moonshine, You leave Jooner alone! I think his new helmet would look good, If I could see it. Did ya hear that JJ say Jeffy got him loose, made hit the Busch boy? Then he said the Busch boy body slammed him, I didn't see Jeffy touch old crybaby JJ.

If Kyle is running on 7 cylinders, wouldn't that just make him equal with the other drivers. You know, "tie a arm behind my back and I will still beat you up".

Poor Kylie just went two laps down. He has to be the greatest 2 lap down driver in NASCAR history. From what I have seen from Jeff Burton tonight, maybe he should consider politics.

Sal,
Did you happen to see your brother-in-multiple-chins, Rick Hendrick, standing next to Mark Martin on pit road? From the looks of it, Mark's lucky that Rick didn't reach over and pop the little old man in his mouth for a snack. Yikes!

it's kinda freakin' sweet somebody takes the time to write a little story with several different id's.
kinda like the republican media. memo goes out they all say the same wacky bullshit.
i was thinking, no really i do that sometimes, how funny if the blog is actually 2 or 3 people doing the regular comments.
some people who are bi-lingual or bi-sexual or simply bi-tasking could be not only an id who thinks, and a republican commenter too.
hey
NOT
a
shot
i think non plad shirt no work boots lesibans are kinda hot well actually it depends what the shirt looks like.
chastity bono... not hot
her girlfriend... HOT
it's kinda selective, but fair, in the end.

Posted by: Buck-Teeth Betty | Jul 11, 2009 4:24:18 PM
J2, did you bother to check out how many times Jr. was crashed out of or had engine troubles in the first 12 races? Bet not.
Posted by: Dawn | Jul 11, 2009 3:57:08 PM
Can't wait to see what all Moon Shine will have to say in this game. lol.
Posted by: Crusty Old Maid | Jul 11, 2009 3:03:19 PM
Count me in on the game. This Crusty Old Maid likes to play. Can I bring a different driver? I'm sure Back Seat Bunny would like someone else too.
Posted by: Crusty Old Maid | Jul 11, 2009 2:49:08 PM
And Hot Dog is actually Moon Shine. You read it wrong, Sal. Get your chins out of your eyes.
Posted by: Back Seat Bunny | Jul 11, 2009 2:42:36 PM
Did you say "jump on Dale Earnhardt Jr."? I'm in the back seat, Sal, but NOT with him!!
Posted by: Back Seat Bunny | Jul 11, 2009 2:40:03 PM
And if Back Seat Bunny jumps in, we're on!
Posted by: Double Chin Sally | Jul 11, 2009 2:38:21 PM
We're doing what? With what? Dale Jr works for me. :)))
Posted by: Crazy Esther | Jul 11, 2009 2:21:15 PM
OK. Let's play this game;
No matter WHAT we are talking about, or WHO. I WILL find a way to bring Dale Earnhardt Jr. into the fray. Regardless of what it is....this is gonna be fun. Especially if I can get Crazy Esther, Hot Dog, and Crusty Old Maid involved in it.
Posted by: Double Chin Sally | Jul 11, 2009 2:09:38 PM
Odd Dawn,
I usually do not agree with DT but thats interesting stats there.
I see J2, posted in defense as usual. 6 races J2, hell as DT and most thought by week 2 it would improve some. It hasnt..
Now with BK leaving HMS and heading to a rival( about 85% sure), you going to hate on BK>>
I have to stand behind my balls and the 47 being the slepper tonight..
Be good, have fun
Posted by: D2 | Jul 11, 2009 2:00:04 PM
Dawn
21.3. In the past six races without Tony Jr. calling the shots, Dale Jr. has had an average finish of 21.8
Gezzzz DAWN cut the guy some slack and Look at the positives will yah !!!!!!!!!!!!
this is a VERY VERY consistant shitty driver!!! and think about when BK leaves hms he'll move up to the 6th best driver at hms :)
Posted by: aggie | Jul 11, 2009 1:17:29 PM
Six races don't predict the future success of a driver/cc combo. Junior didn't even finish this last one because of an accident so that will further skew any comparison to prior events. Time will tell and not the ridiculous month and a half used in what's his names comparison.
Posted by: Jon2 | Jul 11, 2009 12:07:14 PM
Maybe Jr. has A.D.D. Hey Jeremy, got any extra Meds.
Posted by: 68 camaro ss | Jul 11, 2009 11:53:20 AM
gretchen
but he's too old and out of shape and unfocused.....wait are we talking about my favorite driver or fighter? LOL
ok wanna a real laugh and its NO BS
iam looking for a gps right and who who endorses one??
some guy from nascar who cant hit or find his pit stall and forgets where he is on the track, cant see yellow lines ect
yep Jr has a gps model and he endoreses
man you talk about a marketing night mare!!
GSP well good branding on his part
check ut matts video on u tube the guy is the real american rocky!!
ironman yeah i think its going to be over real fast for lesner liek he wins in less than 1 minutes or he looses a longer battle
