Stewart wins Daytona in a wild finish
For most of the race it seemed like Tony was going to win it, but being Daytona, we know anything can happen and it did. With the last lap pass that Kyle Busch made on Tony, I thought for sure that Kyle was gonna win...Tony led for most of the race and gets beat on the last lap. What I didn't expect was the run Tony got and I'm sure Kyle didn't expect it either.
Both drivers did what they were suppose to do, yes some may say it's Tony's fault and others may say it's Kyle's fault, but both were just trying to win the race and I doubt the plan was to wreck anyone. Kyle just went to block, what any other driver would have done in his position, unfortunately for Kyle, Tony was already there and he went across the nose of the car. That was one horrific wreck and I'm glad no one was seriously injured, either Kyle or any of the others caught up in it.
I'm sure all the Busch haters will come out and say he deserved it, but he did what any other driver would have done in that position. While I may not be a fan of his, I ask you to look at it objectively, would you think he deserved it if it had been your driver pulling the block? Probably not, but I guess that's what makes race fans unique.
Your thoughts?

Kathy, truly it was no ones fault. Thats the product of Turn 4 last lap at Dega and would have happened to any driver or drivers. That truly was thatsracin..
From the last blog:
Damn, good to see some dont mind seeing any driver take 3-4 vicious licks, then seem not to care about there well being.
With that being said I detest JJ, BUT would never want to see him or any other driver in that situation as the 18 was in. So no I dont like him but the product of getting nailed over and over I wouldnt wish on JJ and "no I wouldnt french kiss him"..
Quite screwed some enjoy watching other drivers get into wrecks, but if it had been the other way around OMG lets end the day..
It was a racing deal. Dare say had the role been reversed it wouldn have happened the other way as any driver is going to block .. congrats to the 14 team and Smoke. Hats off to the 2,78, Ambrose.
I would like to thank JPM for screwing the 31 up earlier in the race and that was a Top 3 car Jeff B had last night.
Aggie, the 18 fading in the Chase? He will make the Chase, as will the 2.
Did any HMS car show up last night besides the 48?
All drivers did get released from the Care Center and some are going to sore as hell today..
Another stellar performance by the 88. Seems he did the same in the Busch Race..
Cancel the Chase for them and Lance watch your back. Just odd prior to the CC switch 88 fans were calling for Eury Jr.'s head, now that he hasnt improved it is real quiet in 88 land? Hummm

Any driver who throws the block like that deserves to be put in the fence, no matter who it is. He didn't have to block. He could have taken his chances and drag raced Tony to the line and he may have still one the race. You never, ever throw the block the second time. You block twice, you deserve to get punted. Bottom line, no exceptions.
A big atta boy to Nascar and the folks who design the safety features of the new car. Amazing no one was hurt.
