Keslowski wins the first Nationwide race at Iowa
Keslowki passed Busch with 8 laps to go and ended up winning the race. The two battled for a while there, but Keslowski pulled it out in the end.
I guess being a new track to everyone, it helped lead to a slew of cautions, surprisingly a lot of the cautions were for wrecks for cars running near the front. I think the one that confused me the most was the 12, 66 and 6 wreck, it was one of those what were you thinking moments I guess.
I wouldn't mind them holding a Cup race there, but we all know that won't happen.
Sorry about the absence last weekend, was a bit under the weather.

Ironman, I don't have a dog in this fight. I like both Kyle and Jr. Kyle is a GREAT driver with a rough personality. Jr. is a GOOD driver with a likeable personality. Also, don't pay any attention to DW's predictions. If you'll remember, he predicted that Jr. would win at least 6 races last year.
Jon2, didn't know you could read minds. IMHO D2 and Kyle would be friends whether he wins or loses.

I can tell you why K2 is such a Kyle proponent: K2 hates Big Rick(BR) and even more, JJ. And since BR fired Kyle and hired Junior....there you go. As if he was scorned. Something he's imagined Jimmy did to him, a sleight, something happened. Notice when BR at end of last season fires CMears, K2 starts praising CM. K2 carries a grudge.
If this scene didn't have Big Rick somewhere in it and JJ somewhat, K2 could care less about Kyle and his childish antics. K2 carries a grudge.

Man, Fraud2, you are soooo funny! hahaha I like how you keep coming up with something new to call me with almost every post. Gotta give you a 10 for the creativity! By the way, you really should look up the proper way to use "who" and "whom." Some reading tutorials would help, too, since you say that you're tired of people bashing your ass buddy while praising Junior; I don't know what you're talking about, because no one on here has posted anything but sentiments ranging from surprise, to shock, and to glee (in your case) that Junior is having such a shitty year. Now, see if it's possible for you to stick to the issues for the rest of the season when people post something about Kyle without even the SLIGHTEST mention of another driver. Put away your jealousy and disdain for Junior and just debate the issues around your boy. I don't think you can.
Let me begin to explain why your driver is such a big topic on here. Your boy was supposed to be handed the trophy before the season even began (after they knocked DW out of the way, doing the "kneel and bob" on him), based on his success last year. Then, he won three races early in the season, not to mention, he was running the truck series, and the Nationwide series, and he was the greatest driver in the history of the world, according to DW and the media. Then, even more, as the season progressed, we all were treated to his sparkling personality for a variety of reasons. Smashing a work of art from Sam Bass, parking his car on the track and leaving it for his crew to retrieve, and just generally being an ass and refusing to be interviewed after the race. None of this was surprising to most of us fans, though; we've seen signs of this stuff all along.
Now, after a season full of his immature BS, we are supposed to believe that he's turned over a new leaf and has gained newfound maturity. Overnight.
Whatever.
That's why we rag on your boy continuously. But you don't get it, and I don't expect you to get it. You like him. We DO get that. He acts like a total jackass toward others, but it's okay because you say he cares. Hey, newsflash to Kurt2,D2, or whatever the hell you are these days: there are 42 other drivers out there who care, as well. The goofy looking bastard in the 18 isn't the only one on the track who gives a shit. Furthermore, just because he "cares" doesn't give him a license to act like a spoiled dick. And you wonder why some people like other drivers so much? Because they don't act like Kyle, THAT'S WHY!
If we all followed your formula, none of us would root for anyone unless he won 3-8 races per season, because I guess it's not worth our time to root for someone who has a decent personality, has been good to the fans, or is the offspring of our all-time favorite driver. I don't give a shit whether the man never wins another race, because that's not why I like the guy. I like other drivers out there who have maybe three or four top 10's in a season because they're good guys, not because they win all the time.
It wouldn't matter if your boy won 10 races a year, or never won a race. As long as he keeps being an arrogant punk, people aren't going to like him. It's not because he wins, and at this point in his career, he's winning often. Maybe people dislike him even more because we're told by you and ass kissers like DW that it's okay for him to act like a jerk because he wins. And he cares. Maybe someday you and your boy will figure it out.
We already know.

What does his spotter have to do with it? You thought Kahne wouldn't correct his car just because his spotter told him Hornish was there?

Junior is the only Hendrick Motorsports driver that is not in the running for the Chase to the Sprint Cup and with just 14 now races left in the season the Amp Energy #88 team has more questions than answers. Obviously the firing of Tony Eury Jr. hasn't made a difference (surprised?) as the team has dropped even farther in the Sprint Cup points standings to 23rd. For those of you paying attention, that's the bottom half of the standings. With great sponsorship, unlimited resources and a new crew chief there is only one place to lay blame: The driver.

Let's talk about some drivers that MATTER this year. Let's talk about Kurt, Tony, Jeff, Puffs, JPM, Newman, Martin, Kasey, Carl, Matt, Kyle, VICKERS, etc.

Ambrose had a great 3 day weekend. As did Kyle, but I am sure he's not real happy.
He reminds me a lot of a former Atlanta Brave player named Ryan Klesko. Klesko used to swing away, going for the HR on each and every at bat. Base hit be damned, he was going for the gusto on each at bat. Fucking phenomonal to watch him bat. Unless he was up with 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th, because the son of a bitch would not do anything different than he did on each and every other at bat. And the fact is he cost ATL quite a few games- important games- with his failure to settle for a run scoring single.
The point being, Kyle Busch better learn- since he is so *young* and all- to points race these last few, or else he's gonna miss the Chase and that would be really shitty for the sport for that 18 car not to be in the Chase.
