Vickers wins from the pole at Michigan
He came close yesterday to a win in Nationwide Series, but today Vickers was able to hold on and win, from the pole. His win gives Toyota their first Michigan win. It looked like it was going to be a nail-biter there during the last few laps, until Johnson ran out of fuel, then we were left to wonder if Vickers had enough, obviously he did.
I also want to let the readers of of the blog know that some comments have been deleted by the higher-ups and I am to keep and eye on them so they don't get out of hand. Comments that go way overboard with vulgarities and personal attacks will be deleted from now on. If you have any questions on that feel free to send me an email.
As for the Nationwide race yesterday, I was hoping for Vickers to win that one also, but it wasn't meant to be. He got loose there at the end and that allowed Keslowski to go high and get by both him and Busch. It was a racing deal and although Busch has every right to be upset about it, he didn't have to do what he did after the race.
Your thoughts?

grew up in the midwest bible belt. took me years to get over that.
when i was a boy i tent camped with mom and dad in different sites along the red lake road. summer vacation without any thing you plug in or recharge. of course you would of had to find an outlet.
one year it rained 11 out of 12 days. that kinda sucked but when you're a kid it's all an adventure. even washing clothes in the falls smacking em on the rocks, eating berries off the bush, drinking pure water out of a hole in the ground.
love walleye.

ahhboo dubai
so aggie they are building some nice stuff. someone is a planning wiz over there.
and the cheap labor is TEMPORARY.
unlike here. we need some cheap workers we invite them and their wife and 8 kids and their neighbor and 3 uncles and their 26 kids and the rest of the town.
the catholic church is in the alien smuggling business. oh yeah and you HAVE to produce at min 5 kids while here. it makes for a bigger church here = more church money and the government gets to pay for the birth and the following health care.
and, ya all get to be citizens.
does it get any better than this.
well when i was a kid i'd mow your freakin lawn for a couple bucks you didn't have to bring in half of south america to get the job done.
if these poilticans are so stupid how'ed they get so rich?
oh yeah they sold YOU out to the highest foreign bidder.

yeah fat people in the usa.
j. h. christ put the pork chop down and go outside.
me and the 7 year old took the doggie on a 30 block walk last night. it's more fun at night. the route included the "old town" area now little shops etc. it's fun, she gets to see the world in slow motion plus i get to teach her to shop like a girl. or at least window shop like a girl.
it's an excellant adventure including life lessons along the way.
and the dog got to water 382 plants and patches of grass.
years ago i saw a older man who smoked with the oxygen tubes around his neck. he would hack and cough and smoke... repeat.
10 feet was too far to shuffle at one time. stop cough and smoke.

yeah bk to penske. gretchen had the perfect career path for brad... a year in nw + random cup races full time after that.
but then penske is the smartest owner in motorsports as far as business goes.
hope bk does good at penske. right out of the gate he's ahead of 3rd tier teams like rcr and mwr.

Will be interesting to watch Vickers and
Kyle tonight at Bristol. Both are close to
getting into the championship run so maybe
they'll try and avoid each other.
I was hoping Smoke would have a 3rd. car for
2010 and put Brad K. in it but it didn't
happen. He would have been a great driver
for SHR.
Congrats to David Ragan and team. They've
had it tough in Cup so far this season.
Looking forward to this race in Bristol
tonight.

"or (deleted) trying living a healthier lifetsyle duh?? that natives up here just cost us so much coin with their beer drugs and bad diet and its really sad thei life expectancy isnt much past 55 huge diabetic problem in that culture due to their diet" by the Aggster.
Health professionals down here say 70% of our health costs are related to bad living spread accross all our ethnic groups. Cigs, watching to much tv, poor diets translates into cancer, diabetes, obesity, etc., which drives our health care costs through the ceiling. Like I said earlier, not unusual in these parts to see a citizen toting an oxygen tank into a fast food or fried fish joint to stuff themselves with, well, grease and fat.
As an example, they oughta take some of these fat butted people, put them in a rating pool reserved only for morbidly obese people and let them experience the consequences of insurance rates that reflects their lifestyles.
Why should I be penalized as the result of bad decisions made by others.

nfw dude.
police want to speak with Ryan Alexander Jenkins, of Alberta, Canada, who reported her missing Saturday night after he took her to a poker party in San Diego.
reported that Jenkins was a contestant on the current VH1 reality show 'Megan Wants a Millionaire,' in which a woman tries to land a wealthy husband.
lol ummm sorry, but really... 'Megan Wants a Millionaire
A publicist for Jenkins told TMZ.com late Tuesday that "Ryan is currently speaking to his attorney and will fully cooperate with the police in this matter. He is planning on meeting with them in the near future."

hey aggie
i'm getting used to madmen now that i've seen 8 episodes from, i guess season 2.
sopranos without the Important equipment like the Guns and Basaball bats and all the other funn stuff from the new jersey area.
i don't knnow if you smoke cigs... i quit 7 months ago. every scene has a cig in the office, at the dinner table, everywhere.
when they get up to leave the picnic in the country, the wife shakes ALL the trash off on the ground and they walk away. lol.
and when ol Don Draper gets up to leave he chucks a beer can out in the grass.
lol. times change.
now days even the 7 year old says... hey don't litter it makes the ground look ugly.
Posted by: exile | Aug 22, 2009 12:32:25 AM
yes aggie.
the nafta thing continued to f up the jobs that was started before it. i would bag on clinton for real BUT the problem with that is NO right wing wacko will ever say bush was a total dumb azz coke head drunk that f'ed up the entire usa.
so i continue along the road to hoping SOMEBODY anybody will come along and kill all the lobbyists before they get us first.
anyway everybody went to india for call centers. they work in dorms and work for jacksh*t wages.
the big example joan2 threw up in here has a guy who's family got a "close" match in the usa and it had something to do with stem cells too which is a big no no fund raiser for repukes. and the family coughed up 35k outta their own pocket and wanted to fund raise for the $200k balance.
so the real facts are skewed so much from the reality by the right side fox fugz.
i liked what barney frank said to the insane person who got up and started mumbling the natzi birther complete sh*tbag dumbazz questions and barney said... what planet do you live on to ask that and i'd answer but i'd be ahead talking to a dining room table.
i'd LMAO except there are large numbers of dim bulbs here that believe that.
as bill mahr said... electing a Smart President does NOT equal a smart country.
i shouldda maved up there when i was 20 and stayed there.

Authorities believe the mutilation was an attempt to impede efforts to identify Fiore's body, which became identified using the serial numbers from her breast implants.[7] Fiore was last seen alive with Jenkins at a poker party on Friday, August 14, 2009 in San Diego.
serial numbers for what ex's who want them repossed when they split up with them or wnat to add them into a pre nuptial agreement????? or oh yeah a law suit for leakage??

Ha, Ironman! The second pregnancy didn't kill *all* of my memory cells...just most of 'em. Sadler's qualifying run was ugly though. He's going to have to EARN that mill for CMN. I'm happy to give him a nice long list of drivers to punt out of the way on his way to the front. ;)
Gretchen,
I thought we established that "suck fat hairy balls" wasn't cussing? I think that's what we'll be seeing Brad K. doing at Penske next year. Penske is a B-level team that can only seem to manage one good team so I think he'll be starting way behind the power curve in the 12. I wonder why he didn't just do another full year of NW where he CAN win the championship, bum some Cup races here and there like he's been doing, then in 2011 jump in the 5 or Tony's 3rd car or even the Roush ride that Ragan is bound to get fired from by the end of next year.

Article in the Detroit Free Press regarding the condition of Canadian Health Care, you know the type our Pres wants ours to mirror:
"Hospitals in border cities like Detroit....are providing care not widely available in Canada..Canadian Michael Vujovich of Windsor went to an American hospital for a stent when the Windsor hospital put him on a list for the operation....In a sidebar in the article, Mike says the American health system saved his life...Dany Mercado, a leukemia patient from Kitchener, Ontario, is cancer free after getting a bone-marrow transplant in the USA...Told by Canadian doctors in 2007 he couldn't have the procedure (translated: update your will)...the transplant was performed in Detroit in Jan 2008....Canada's US backup care speaks volumes to why we don't need government to take over health care...Their system doesn't work if they have to send us their patients...Mercado's Canadian doctors told him money was limited (translated: rationed) for transplants of his nature...Canadian Mercado commented I think of this(American Health care) every day as a gift from G-d."
Based on the public outcry and the poll numbers appears most Americans have grave concerns about government controlled health care.
G-d Bless America.
My picks for Bristol: Kyle B, Kevin H, The Worm, Matt K, Junior, Kurt B, Montoya, or Mark M.
DJ, make certain you leave the coast clean 'cause we're heading in that direction mid-Sept.
So my bestest friend from the Great North Woods refers to me as the Ugly part in the movie The Good, Bad, and Ugly.

Why do pit reporters wear firesuits? Why does Delana Harvick wear a firesuit? Safety. Also, Chad served as Jeff Gordon's tire changer for a number of years, including two championships..so yeah i'm sure he could jump over the wall and get it done if need be. Or if he felt he needed/wanted to see something himself..need a firesuit and helmet to be over the wall.

" pray and yes I am allowed to say it PC. You , Micheal V and Brett get hurt severly soon.."
From the mouth of the guy who lambasts anyone for saying they wish someone wrecks another guy in Nascar. Classy and hypocritcal as usual. What a joke.
Also, why don't you actually read and understand the law before you spout off stupid comments about Vick and Burress getting "cakewalk" sentences. You are so clueless..as as many in this country are, it's really just saddening to hear people like you so uneducated and uninformed, yet willing to spout off at the mouth.
You are clearly clueless as to what the New York City gun laws are and the penalties. Also clueless about federal dog fighting penalties.
I condone none of what either did, but not stupid enough to spout off on things i know nothing about. unlike some.
