Grateful

Grateful is what I am to be here today.  This Sunday is not like a Valentine's or Hallmark holiday, it is a day to be grateful for those who gave us life! I think we get so busy in the day to day that we forget to tell people how much they mean to us and how we feel.  I was not the easiest child to deal with growing up and I know that any of my relatives reading this are chuckling right now.  Yet, my mom has always been a rock for me. She says that kids don't become "real" until they are around age 24.  That is the age where they begin to realize how much their parents have done for them and that maybe we as children were not as smart as we thought! I hope every mother out there (even pet mommies too!) Have a Wonderful Mother's Day!  And to all of the children...go do something nice for your mom and tell her how much you care...after all where would you be without them! Love you Mom (and Gram)

I hope you have a wonderful Mommy's Day too... and hope your furbabies get you some pretty flowers to make up for all their doggy stinkiness! :-)

Krissie, What a wonderful, sweet blog! You have done your mother proud! I am the mother of three sons, and I tell them the age people become real is 25. I have told them that God gives us beautiful babies to fall in love with and learn to protect with all our might, so we won't harm them when they're growing up! My sons are wonderful men and I'm so happy to be a Mom and a Nana! Wishing you a wonderful Mother's Day and hope the doggies are generous. (Get that, Ryan?)

Well..... what a lovely blog :) I am definitely grateful for my fam. We are actually doing a family picnic at the park for my grams and all of her children, so all of the generations will celebrate together :)

Krissie...you.... not an easy child to deal with growing up? Nooooooo? Sweet as pie now tho so what a lovely transition :) I think I got it backwards. I was the sweet only child growning up, and now....well nevermind :)

Happy mother's day to all of the mothers on the blog. Enjoy your weekend and cheers to a solid finish for the 12 team. Always sweet to see all of the proud mothers at the track.

Beautiful blog Krissie.........Happy Mothers Day to you all. Sometimes, I look at this day in the opposite way. i.e., having my daughter was the best thing that ever happened to me. I should thank HER.
