Lucky
Since I've been with Ryan I've always heard people say we were lucky. We never just beat someone, we always got lucky. I cant remember where i heard it but i believe in this statement." Luck is when preparation meets opportunity". I'd rather be lucky than good any day.

I agree. You can't be lucky that many times anyways. You know how many times you guys had me pacing the floor when it came down to fuel mileage? I gotta say, Ryan really knows how to conserve fuel and still be fast! Good luck to you guys in the Shootout!

I think Ryan is a good driver, but my wife and I roll our eyes everytime Matt Borland tells us they have to conserve gas. I've seen Ryan not only win a race, but also take a pace lap, do some doughnuts and still make it to victory lane after Borland told us he was going to run out of gas. So, spare us the conserve fuel nonsense. Some of us think Borland cries wolf.

Matt Borland's definately a crew chief to keep an eye on, but its Mike Nelson and his infamous fuel calculation program the other teams have gotta watch out for!

frankly i think winning by fuel mileage is a crock. it's a crappy situation as a fan.

Hey now, a win's a win. Yeah, I yawned the whole final stretch of Biffle's Pepsi 400 win. But remember the fall race at Richmond in 2002? On the last lap, people were dropping like flies. Now THAT was exciting. (Especially since all the drop-outs put Jr. in the top five, which meant that when he won at Talladega later on, some lucky fan got $5 million. I bet THAT guy's ok with it!)

A win is a win. The win goes to who finished the laps first....not the fastest. It's not the 12 team's fault they're smart!
