Att. Mooresville
OK, just got in from an early vending route and had to write about my latest experience in Race City USA. This is to all the people who drive the pimped out Honda's and Jetas. The ones that have the loud mufflers to make there car sound like a swarm of bees following it. Just because you live in Mooresville, NC, which is dubbed as "Race City USA", does not make you a race car driver. Now I know my vending truck is slow, and i know you guys love racing down the high way to see how fast your little cars can go, but the next time you pull up to me three wide on I77, which is a two lane highway, you might end up in the fence. Then you can take your little car back to the garage and repaint that ugly ass green and re attach the spoiler that was built out of wood. If you want to race cars so bad go down to Charlotte to the indoor karting facility and race your balls off, but don't do it on the highway. OK, i feel better now.

Hey man,
The funny thing about all those people that live up there is this. If they put half the money they put into those little rice rockets into a nice car, they'd have something that looked better, sounded better, and drove faster. These little kids don't seem to understand that Hondas are not made to go fast. It's a riot for the most part. Knock one of 'em out with the ol step van, that'll teach 'em.

They've been watching 'The Fast and the Furious' too much. They think they're fast, but they just make everyone else furious. I agree with the comment above, why don't they save up or club together for something like a GTO and leave the wheels and exhaust well alone?

Let me start out by saying that I do not own one of these "pimped out wooden winged Hondas", however I fully understand someone wanting to make there car look good and go fast. Seems to me it is more of an issue with the drivers not the cars. But then again, let's go back 30 to 40 years ago and remember that the same thing was going on with the muscle cars of that era. People were racing them on the street just like now, same you know what, different day. Is it that people get upset because one of their beloved muscle cars are getting out run by these 'four bangers'. These guys are not doing anything that car guys haven't been doing since the first car was made, make their car the best on the street. Now as for their driving ability, can't help it if they had to sell that to buy parts for the car,but then again, how many of us have never participated in a little one on one street action before?

Kevin what your saying is true. I guess im juts more of a 4x4 type of guy. I guess ill never understand the reasoning behind the whole wood wing thing.

Hey, nothing makes me happier than smoking some ricer in my SS. If kids knew how ridiculous those cars looked with their fart pipe exhaust and pro-mod wing on their cars, maybe they wouldn't do it.

I hear you Trent. Preach it brother !!

Your gripe would mean more if you used proper grammar and could spell 'Jetta' correctly.

once again GARY.... what is the big deal that he isn't spelling stuff right. I'm sure you don't always type or speak perfect. Who cares if he spelled Jetta wrong??? Idiots like you I guess!

Kayla i appreciate the support on this issue. My spelling will continue the way i want it to and if those fellas dont like it then they dont have to read it.

Try driving around South Florida in rush hour twice per day. Try working your way around 1984 Ford escort station wagons and Lincoln towncars all driven by the over 80 set. Try Homestead raceway on raceDAY with only one road in and one road out.
Wait a minute..what am I thinking???

not for nuttin but, this phenomena is NOT
confined to idiots driving Hondas and Dodge Neons...there are idiots driving Lexus SUVs,
delivery vans, and Chevy Impalas, too.
I just spent two weeks on the road in my
wife's rig and saw some of the most ridiculous s*** imaginable! If you think it is tough dealing with these a******s in a normal vehicle, imagine wheeling a loaded rig(about 80,000 pounds worth) down the expressway in Jersey and having someone cut across three lanes of traffic in front of you, trying to make an offramp, then suddenly slam on the brakes and come back into your lane! This happened to us twice and almost cost me my lunch both times. I don't scare easily but this was too damn close.
At the end of the day, please take into consideration what a job a truck driver is doing just keeping his rig on the road...and try to give them a little extra room.
thankx
