Pictures from the VJGC
This was one of the best things Ive ever been apart of. If you have never been there you need to check it out. All the wives that went up there with us and all the guys on our team all agree it was an unbelievable night. Here are some of the pictures of last night.
The first pic. is at dinner time doing some dance that all the kids knew except us. Bryan White a pit crew member was having a good time with the thumbs up sign. The second picture is Matt Borland with a camper who wanted a dance partner and called on Matt. The third picture is me and my wife Ashley with one of the campers who told me I can't dance for squat. He was right. Picture four is our team doing a stop for the kids. We ended up doing three stops during the night. Picture five is a camper changing the left front tire. When we got done with our stops all the kids that wanted were allowed to change a tire before we went on to the next stop. The last two picture are group shots with some of the campers after all the stops were done. All and all it was a cool experience and we will definitely do it again. Enjoy the pics

Enjoyed the pictures! Looks like ya'll had some fun at the camp - those smiles are precious! Its seeing things like this that you guys do away from the track, that makes it so easy to be a 12 team fan! Good luck this weekend!

Trent, those smiles on the kids' faces say it all! Thank you guys all for taking the time to spend with them and for making special memories for them to cherish!

Trent your wife is very pretty! While I'm sure that your visit was a lot of fun for the campers, I bet it has a longer lasting effect of you (and all the guys). Really helps put life, and racing, in perspective doesn't it?
Thanks for sharing the pictures and your evening with us!

This trip was one of the best experiences of my life!! I want everyone to realize that you can visit this camp too and experience it for yourself. The camp hosts children year round for a week at a time and also for just weekends. So, if you think this is something you would like to be a part of, please go to Victory Junction's webisite and call to volunteer. The children will make such an impact in your lives!! Thanks Trent for making it possible for us to go.

I want to thank you guys for going to VJGC. What a special place it is and you guys do make a difference in their lives when you visit. I suppose it made a difference for you and your wives as well. Adam was a real special kid and what a legacy eh?
Thank You again...

Glad to know everyone is enjoying the pics. You guys said it best when you said it really puts things into perspective. Obviously we are not having the best of years on the track, but racing was the last thing on our minds last night. One of the kids even tried to convince Borland to give us today off so that we could join in on the food fight that was going on tonight after dinner. Didnt work out that well but atleast they were trying for us.

Great pictures Trent. I'm sure you guys did a lot to brighten the day for the kids at VJGC. Time well spent.

Trent what you guys did at the camp was great. It's a thing that you guys won't soon forget but those kids will remember that for the rest of their life. Think of that for a moment. Taking one night of your life will have a good impact on the kids you hung out with every day. It's a great thing that you guys do with the position you're in. Keep up the good work.

Did you stage-dive?
Posted by: RCSanders | Jun 22, 2006 2:34:06 PM
Good stuff Trent!
It means so much to those kids as well as there families.
If your ever down and out about life, look at the struggles those kids have to deal with day to day.
It means so much more to all involved when you folks give from the "heart", and not just to please your PR department! Bravo to all involved!
Posted by: South Bend | Jun 22, 2006 3:25:24 PM
South Bend, the cool part about this was we didnt tell the PR department for that reason. We didnt want to do it for the wrong reasons, so really know one at the shop knew but the 12 team. If it wernt for the blog you would never of known we were there and thats how it should be. RCSanders, it funny you say that. Some of the kids wanted to know who the idiot was that went into the ground, as they called it. Even they thought that was dumb. Had a couple of laughs with that.

What happen to the 8 win race team....you guys are no where?
Who stole the mojo?
