A fans gift

I don't have much to talk about sense i spent the week resting and playing golf.  I would like to say thank you to a fan of the 12 cars who left a gift for me at the shop.  Rashaun, who is an avid reader of the blog and a major 12 car supporter, left a nice babies gift for me and the wife and also left some candy for the guys.  Just to let you know, when gifts of any kind are left at the shop they are greatly appreciated by all the guys.  We ve all been eating the candy for days now and the wife wanted to say thank you also.  We would all be idiots to think we could do what we do without the fans.  So not only to Rashaun but all the fans out there, thank you for all your support.  OK, thats about all for now. Its off to Talladega and hopefully a good finish.

I wish I had Rashaun's money and as much available "off time"....must be nice! She's practically a Newman stalker! Good luck at Dega Trent.

Posted by: just a fan | Apr 23, 2008 12:14:55 AM

Oh boy...another disgruntled being. It must take so much energy. So since you somehow you know me lets break it down to see how spot on you are. And at the end of the day...we can probably be pals...what do ya say. Lets start with

Rashaun's money...you mean that green stuff most people work for and when ya wanna do extracurricular stuff....it makes ya wanna work a lil harder. Time is money and it may work for you too if ya spent a lil more time tryin to work on that instead of wastin keystrokes on someone elses time and money.

As for the time off...i dont usually think beyond gettin to the race cuz I got it bad. So typically I just roll out and if I lose my job while I am gone.... I mean really shame on the employers...they have to understand it is nascar right. Ya know since the economy is so great and all...why sweat the small stuff I will just find another money maker.

Now when I finally do get to the track security is typically already on my tail. Its tough being a newman fan when there is already a restraining order out on ya. I dont blend in well so they can usually spot me pretty easy and I am escorted to the gate BUT if I make a lot of noise...sometimes I can get ryan's attention while i get carted off.

But hey....just maybe I could use your help. If you are who i think you are, i could probably hide behind you are possibly use you as a decoy. We should plan it maybe for the may race in NC. Ohh crap, but how will I know who you are since you are hidin behind keystrokes on a computer. SO a lil desription and well we can set it up. Meet, I'll get you a ticket, and if your good...maybe even a hot dog.
IN the mean time.....maybe spend a lil less time on this and work on how we can come up with some champagne money so we can celebrate when the mission is accomplished

Ohhhh sorry trent....I meant to add - Good luck in Dega. got a lil side tracked with what was probably supposed to be a simple blog for thank you and your welcome. Way to bring em out of the woodwork. See what ya started :) Who knew it would be a segway into woe is woe is me kinda response. I know you guys have some great fans and judging from what I read on the fan forum...you get lots of baked goods and rice krispie treats. Hopin for a solid finish. Glad you enjoyed your time off. Relaxin and golfin is a great combo. Tell your wife congrats and am glad yall are enjoyin the candy.

I can assure you, you do not know me. I only know you from what you write on this blog. You sound like a nice person, I take it all back. I was having a bad day.

Posted by: just a fan | Apr 23, 2008 12:19:16 PM

its all good hoomies. rashaun do you really have lots of money. holla

Posted by: trent | Apr 23, 2008 1:18:45 PM

I wish :) If so I'd retire and be at all the races

Posted by: RASHAUN | Apr 23, 2008 1:21:49 PM

You really know her only from here? That is funny, because I don't recall her posting about her trips here, but I love reading her posts on the fan club forum. I think she is just a huge Ryan Newman supporter, just like the rest of us. I know I work hard for my money and it is nobody's business how I spend it.

You can assure you are unknown...I doubt it Bob-get a life. Once again, your email address gives you away.

Hey Rashaun-if you do have a money tree in your backyard, can I have a twig?

Trent-sorry for getting off topic. Us fans love you guys and good luck in Dega!

Posted by: Shae | Apr 23, 2008 1:45:23 PM

I actually live in P.O. Box. rents cheap and that is how i save on expenses to get to the races : )

A girl just loves being at the track and takin it all in as do many other fans. A lot of people plan races as a family vacay. Not a big deal.

Being at the track is an awesome experience and one that I am just as excited for others as I am myself when one gets to go. Love listenin to the stories or experiences and seein the pictures.

By the way I am hopin to make it to my first ever pit crew challenge. Hopin the alltel team will bring home another trophy. Must have been awesome last year. I always look forward to the penskefest that week of the coke 600. The shop is just immaculate. And gettin to see the team practice pit stops at fan day was awesome.

ALl the NC races are awesome cuz so many of the teams and shops put on things for the fans. Lots of FREE entertainment. I will be all up in the speed street festival. Traffic is crazy but always a good time.

FOr anyone else who will be around the team loves candy, rice krispie treats and all kinds of baked goods ehhh? Nothin wrong with givin a lil back

Wow, the only thing missing from the "mystery posts" were all the misused question marks!!

Rock on Rashaun ... we all luv ya -including the #12 team! Can't wait for the All-Star Race.

Good luck in Talladega this weekend to the entire #12 team. :)

Posted by: Jen | Apr 23, 2008 10:12:17 PM

Kudos to you Rashaun for giving a gift!!!!

Good Luck #12 team at my FAVORITE track!!!!!!

Posted by: JenInIL | Apr 24, 2008 9:15:19 PM

Wow Shae and Jen, nothing like putting down a total stranger to make one feel good about themselves. Sound like a couple female dogs.

Posted by: kiss this | Apr 25, 2008 6:43:40 AM

hey trent! are you guy's hooking up the rear gear pump this year to help push or are you gonna give it a try the way the rest of us have to do it? hhhhhhmmmmmmmm:)

Posted by: freak | Apr 25, 2008 7:38:16 AM

Gift giving?? Two thumbs up!! Very nice thing to do. :-)

Best of luck to Team 12 at Dega! :-)

Well woof woof woof woof... just a fan/kissthis/any other alias you need to hide behind in order to defend ur miserable self. SO lets get this straight. You bust out with some ridiculous response to the original post that SCREAMS of someone that is obviously miserable, insecure, and to tell ya the truth somewhat dimented. Go on a blog, cast the first stone and then when it gets a response.... cower behind a statement like people just happen to attack an innocent "stranger" to make themselves feel better. Typical attack and retreat syndrome

Trust me the whole icognito thing is really not working for you no matter what alias or email address you put behind it. Same ole multiple personality/different screenname. Basically we got you pegged because you type the same kinda crap and use the same antics no matter where you post. The woe is woe is me thing is a lil outdated.

But lets call it a day. I actually am feelin kinda bad. I recognize whats going on from that class that I used to always skip in college. I think one of the phases is denial but I think you may be in the anger phase. Nothin a lil one on one session wont cure. let me know how it goes. i am rootin for ya tho.

Posted by: hidin behind an alias | Apr 25, 2008 11:30:01 AM

You don't need to keep changing your name as your unique style and constant bitching about people, jobs, money (or the lack thereof) and the ever present woe-is-me attitude is enough.

Get yourself some professional help or at least find a clique to fit into, ok Bob?

Gawwwd.

Posted by: another blind sided alias | Apr 25, 2008 11:57:50 AM

I've been called worse than a female dog ... but usually by people who have confidence issues with themselves.

There's no need to place the blame on us for your original comments. I am sorry that your jealousy issues had to get the best of you.

We know, we know ... you don't look a day over 40 and you still have all your hair. And you have the same last name as Ryan. Congratulations.

I'm only saying here what the majority of people would like to say to you on the forum. Bring back Dan - at least I agreed with many of his views!

I'm signing off now so I can go and roll in piles of money and stare at my beautiful skinny ass in the mirror.

"Good stuff there Rashaun! (big smiley)"

This ain't working either arse-ole.

Posted by: another blind sided aliasss | Apr 25, 2008 2:51:05 PM

Glad to see I'm not the only #12 "stalker" : ) Rashaun, we need to meet up at "Dega!!!!
Best of luck to you guys - hope to see you in victory lane!

Posted by: nutz4newman | Apr 25, 2008 8:37:29 PM

Oh good grief! I'm not even going to get started on our 'mystery' poster. I think the ladies nipped that one in the bud.

Rashaun is a good friend of mine, and I find it funny to read such a ridiculous comment about her. Anyone who knows her knows that she is a fun-loving, good hearted person who just happens to be a big Ryan Newman fan. Like other NASCAR fans, she goes to races. Big deal.

As for Jen and Shae, they are both great ladies as well. :) Any of us fans (stalkers? Whatever you want to call us!) that have hung out together at fan days and races can echo my sentiments.

Let's get back to what matters, and that's Ryan and the 12 team. This post by Trent was great. It's obvious that Ryan has great fans, and it's nice to see that the boys appreciate the support.

GO 12!

soundz like you ticked off the cheerleading squad bob

Posted by: DMeantIt | Apr 26, 2008 7:22:02 AM

Don't know who this bob guy is DMeantit but he must of hit the right button. Maybe the truth hurts Shae and Jen. Maybe they both planned this out to give this bob guy a hard time. Wouldn't doubt it. Anyone can imitate an email address. Shame on you two I'm guessing girls. Sorry Trent and Rashaun.

Posted by: howdy | Apr 26, 2008 4:45:43 PM

What up trent
appreciate the thanks, am excited for your expected new addition, you are very welcome, and it should be an exciting time

Most nascar fans are pretty loyal and most definitely passionate. It typically extends from the driver to the crews. We showcase teh support in many ways from banners to gifts to cheerin at home. NOW.......

I have never been more excited for you to post your NEXT blog than I am now. Bring it on :) PLEASE!! Ready to get my normal, positive, "newman is da shiznit" mojo going on.

So it will be over to the forum to post some good lucks and cheer with the rest of my peeps. Overall.... the comeraderie is positive. Lots of loyal 12 fans that have been members for years. Most of us are on scanners and followin the 12 team all race. You guys have had some stout pit stops and it doesnt go unrecognized on that board for sure. Always lookin forward to him gainin a few spots on pit road. Keep up the good work

Lookin forward to the race. I will be all up on the scanner. Got my Crown royal and sprite chillin in the fridge and am ready to bust it out tomorrow for da race. Looks like the car is good. Hopin the race on sunday is void of a crash that takes out as many cars as I saw in the nationwide series. Crazy. Rock On and cheers to the 12 team bringin it. HOlllla

With all do respect to Rashaun and Trent for this nice post.

With all the hate coming from Shae,Jen and there very obvious aliases, if anyone would need some mental help, it would be you people! You all are assuming that the mystery person is Bob(who ever that is) with absolutely no positive proof. Any one can write on here and then sign in with the same email address. You would have to match IP's to be sure and you can not do that. Like howdy said, you people sound so hateful, you may be the culprit. You seem to know a lot about this person so it would not surprise me. I have seen this kind of thing before on these drive by blogs.

Some one mentioned a clique, that's an admittance that you are a group of bitchy immature people. That, is very sad. Sort of a gang mentality.

Just my observation and my apologies to Rashaun and Trent, two very nice people.

Posted by: myobservation | Apr 28, 2008 12:23:29 PM

Freak, i just read your post about the cheating car thing. the only thing worse than getting beat by us is putting out fasle rumors. Dont be a bad sport Freak.

Posted by: trent | Apr 28, 2008 1:30:52 PM

Bob/Just a fan/kiss this/DmeantIt/Howdy/myobservation -no need for any IP address checks. I am sure all of your personalities have the same social security number.

It is absolutely you coming in with a ton of different aliases...all of them to defend you. I highly doubt the average person is coming here JUST to defend Bob. If so, they don't know you like we do. Even the times give you away. You are posting on the forum on or about the same time you post here. For instance, your very first "just a fan" post came within 5 minutes of you posting on the board in gas prices. Just before 1 am, how ironic (doubtful irony has anything to do with it though). You and the mystery poster must be on the same schedule. Don't need any IP addresses, because you tend to be the CSI kind of case that anyone who knows you can solve. All of your talk about money, cliques, cheerleading, getting irrate when people don't respond to your threads, is A-BOB-typical. Very desperate and starved for attention, but negative attention is better than no attention, right?

You always find a way to stroke your ego even it it means cheerleading for yourself.

I mean REALLY, all of the defend Bob posts have personal vendettas written all over them. And lets not forget the conspiracy theories. I doubt the average person jumps on and wants to attack anyone that has said something wrong about poor Bob. Another woe is me tactic. Highly doubtful that one would waste time to conspire against you considering most tend to ignore or look past what you have to say in your 1st person. Definitely don't care about 2nd, 3rd or 4th person. But for now I am sure you will ponder and come back with a response from the 5th and 6th person too. But we know it is you so have at it. As for me, this case is closed.

lol, i here ya freak.

Posted by: trent | Apr 29, 2008 11:51:27 AM

There are 2200 Ryan Newman fans Shae and only about 15 people even waste there time posting on the stupid thing because of hateful people like your self. You and others like you are the main reason there are only 15 people who post. You and your immature bitchy clique think you own the damn thing. You and Rashaun probably partied with one another so she will stick up for you. You can't vent your hate on the Newman forum so you chose this blog as your platform.

Since when did you become blog police. I think you may have watched one to many CSI shows and live in some kind of weird fantasy. No this isn't this Bob person you keep talking about but I'm sure being the female dog that you sound like, you will have to have the last word.

Posted by: DAN | Apr 29, 2008 6:51:12 PM

heck yeah a bunch of us got our partay on and it was fun as hell

Posted by: rashaun | Apr 29, 2008 7:07:33 PM

It figures!

Posted by: DAN | May 1, 2008 1:23:05 PM

I really don't think Bob needs approval from a bunch of renegade that time of the month immature woman to be a writer on Ryan's Fan Forum so loose the attitudes ho's.
