The 600
Well, we didnt do as well in the pit competition this year as we had hoped. Going in we thought we had a good chance to do well and maybee repeat from last year but it just wasnt happening. We lost to the 99 car in the second round. Thank god its all over with, last week is always the most stressful week of the year for me. You got the competition, qualifying for the all star race, and then the all star race itself. Dont get me wrong, its all fun but im glad its gone and we can get back to a normal schedule. Plus, you always got family and stuff that want tickets and all kind of crap during the Charlotte week and some times it gets to hard to try and help everyone. So any ways, its on to Charlotte. I hope we have a good run and i think there is no reason we cant. Ryan has always run well there we just havent finished very good. I think we can get a good top ten finish and get ourselves back in the top 12 and make a good run at the chase for the next couple of months. I guess we ll just have to see.

You guys seemed to have a pretty good car during the All Star race. Hopefully Ryan was able to figure out what needs to be improved to get him higher then 4th place. He always seemed to be stuck in 4th for the All Star race except at the finish although 6th wouldn't be bad on Saturday night either. Too bad you guys didn't win another pit crew challenge but I hope you had a fun time with it although it is stressful.
Good luck on Saturday night. Let's go 12 Team!!!

Trent,
I have noticed over the past several races; a new car has been used in each race. Is there a particular reason for this? The Phoenix car seemed to be really fast, yet is hasn't been used since.
Thanks
Shaun

I know what your saying Trent. Your expected to be perfect 24/7 in the racing business. Many of us fans expect the same. It's not wrong to feel that way it just not possible!
As long as you do your very best on race day, let the rest bounce off of you like water. When your in the public eye, you will be judged. I'm sure you already know this.
Good luck this Sunday and have fun!
